Reports Suggest We Have A New Favourite For The West Brom Hot Seat

|

It’s been claimed this week that Birmingham City manager Garry Monk has now seen his name rise to the top of the pile when it comes to West Bromwich Albion’s search for a new gaffer.

Following the departure of Darren Moore, as the Play-Offs weren’t good enough, the Board had no-one lined it seems as Jimmy Shan continues to take charge of affairs as we now turn our attentions towards a season extension and a possible route to promotion via Wembley.

The Daily Mail have reported this week that we now favour Monk given the job that he has done at St Andrew’s, particularly in light of their points deduction for Financial Fair Play breaches.

The Mail offer no source or any real information for this claim but Monk does have top flight experience and decent Championship experience from spells with Swansea City, Leeds and Middlesbrough, but they do say, he’ll be of interest to us whether we go up or not.
