Report: Premier League club issue update that could see West Brom star leave club this month

|

West Ham are reportedly still not ruling out the possibility of cutting Grady Diangana’s loan spell at West Brom short in the next few days.

Football Insider claim that the Hammers have until next week to decide whether or not to bring the England youth international back to east London after a promising season with the Baggies that has seen Diangana become one of the club’s most important players.

West Ham have until the 14th January to activate a mid-season recall clause in Diangana’s loan deal at West Brom, though the report states that David Moyes is keen on the youngster remaining with the Championship side for the rest of the campaign with the Hammers yet to sustain a major attacking injury this month and the Hammers enjoying some decent form under the Scottish manager.

Should West Brom sign Diangana permanently?

Yes

No

Diangana has been in exceptional form for Slaven Bilic this season as West Brom continue to mount a serious charge for the Championship title, with stats from WhoScored showing that the 21-year-old attacker has managed five goals and five assists in 19 league games for the Albion in what is turning out to be a great season for the club.

West Brom remain level on points with Leeds United at the top of the league table with both sides sitting nine points above third-place Brentford in the standings, and the Baggies can seemingly thank Diangana for this impressive gap between the automatic promotion and the playoff spots in the division.

Although Diangana missed the majority of the festive period due to injury, including West Brom’s 1-1 draw with Championship title rivals Leeds, the versatile winger will seemingly be back in Bilic’s first-team plans once the youngster has fully recovered with the youngster being left out of last weekend’s FA Cup squad to face Charlton Athletic.
