Report: New West Brom hero enjoying life at club whilst playing alongside ‘good footballers’

|

Callum Robinson is enjoying his bright start life at West Brom after joining the club on loan from Sheffield United in the January transfer window.

Speaking to The Express and Star, the 25-year-old striker revealed he is loving playing alongside quality players such as Filip Krovinovic and Matheus Pereira, with the Brazilian attacker assisting Robinson on Saturday for the Republic of Ireland attacker’s first goal for the club.

As stats from WhoScored show, Robinson has found himself playing an integral role in the West Brom starting XI, with Slaven Bilic starting the attacker out on the left-wing in a three-man forward line alongside the likes of Hal Robson-Kanu and Pereira, and it is these star names in the Championship that have made the re-adjusting period a flawless one for Robinson.

Yes

No

The former Preston North End star said: “I think when you are playing with good footballers, it’s easy. Those players are all comfortable on the ball, they can take it in and I’m just really enjoying playing with them. I think we have got a bit of everything. Hal is our base up there. Matheus speaks for himself. He is an unbelievably talented footballer. And Filip is such a technically-gifted footballer as well and finds those passes. I have just been enjoying it.”

Robinson has joined West Brom during one of the club’s most important periods in some years, and the pace at which that attacker has settled in the first-team as well as assert himself in the starting XI has been impressive, to say the least.

The 25-year-old has won over the respect and admiration of the Baggies faithful, and his game-changing performance against Nottingham Forest will go a long way in West Brom fighting tooth and nail for promotion back into the Premier League.
