“Pushing The Boundaries Of Serious Credibility With This” – Some Fans React To West Brom Bid

|

With West Bromwich Albion being on the end of some seriously pathetic offers from other clubs this season, last night’s breaking news that we had offered only £3million for Rangers skipper James Tavernier hasn’t gone over well either.

The 26-year-old right back has had a good spell north of the border at Ibrox and his performances for the side since his switch to them back in the summer of 2015 has seen him take in well over a 100 matches across all competitions and he’s even contributed 28 goals from defence as they won promotion from the Championship into the Premiership.

The player even boasts limited Europa League experience from his time with them, and this season he has two goals in three competitive matches as his stock continues to rise under manager Steven Gerrard.

Reacting to the news of our offer, plenty were impressed that head coach Darren Moore was going for somebody of his ability, but they were less than impressed with what will hopefully be our opening offer.

Difficult to take the moral high ground on insulting offers in from others, if we’re going to start levelling insulting offers of our own.
