Head coach Tony Pulis has said he’s looking for Albion to bounce back following defeat to Everton when we travel to Selhurst Park this weekend.

With Pulis also saying he expected a warm reception he was also looking forward to seeing his ‘form’ continue as he’s won the last six games against former clubs of his, and he knows that would be the perfect tonic for our more recent disappointment.

In quotes carried by the Birmingham Mail in his pre game press conference, Pulis explained.

‘The reception I got in April was very good. I have got no issues about coming back to Palace at all. I am going to enjoy coming back and I am looking forward to the game. It is a wonderful atmosphere at Selhurst and the Palace fans have kept it going – they haven’t let up at all which is fantastic.’

As for team news, Gareth McAuley remains a doubt and will have a late fitness test ahead of the game having missed the Everton defeat with a calf injury.

Jonas Olsson is also likely to miss out against Palace following the injury he sustained early on against Everton.

With him, alongside Jonny Evans and Chris Brunt, being called into the Northern Ireland squad for this international window it remains to be seen if he can play a part for them as well.
