Premiership or Championship?

Albion could be relegated today should results go against us with Portsmouth travelling to Wigan and Birmingham at home to Newcastle, a point for Pompey or a win for Blues will see the Baggies relegated today before they entertain West Ham on Monday.

Under pressure Baggies boss Bryan Robson has said that he will not be watching the results today and said, ‘I won’t be watching the telly.

‘I’ll probably switch it on at five and see the results.

‘I’ll be nervous, of course. I haven’t got anything in particular planned but I’ll probably go for a run.’

Portsmouth go into today’s game on a good run of form and will have Pedro Mendes back from injury. They may be without Lomana LuaLua who is struggling to overcome an ankle injury.

Blues face the Newcastle side at St Andrews that brushed Albion aside last week at St James Park, Newcastle should have Michael Owen back in the side after he sat out last weeks game.

Albion need both teams to lose and hope that they can claim three points at home to West Ham on Monday night. White flag protests are planned for Monday night IF results fail to go our way today.

Even if results do go our way today we need to win on Monday we need to beat West Ham and at the moment I can’t see where our next goal is going to come from, we have been poor in front of goal all season and goals win games.

If results go our way and then we fail to win on Monday I fear for the reaction the players and management will get from the Albion fans.

No matter what happens this season I will always be proud to be a Baggie, that is why I will support the white flag protests on Monday, I want what is best for my club.
