Roy Hodgson has praised Marc-Antoine Fortune again for his performance today and told him not to get sidetracked by not finding the net.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said that Fortune’s assets are far more important than him finding the net regularly, so he shouldn’t be disheartened and should look at what he is bringing to the team.

‘Marc’s been immense, all he needed today was to crown it with a goal. I thought there were signs of anxiety in his game though. I think he’s getting a little hung up on the fact that he’s had great performances but he’s not scoring. I’d advise him to put that out of his mind and let the goals come by themselves. His contribution to the team is really, really good. He has once again given a very good performance.’
