Dates for the Football League Championship Play-Offs have been set involving Derby County, Southampton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion are looking to emulate Watford who won promotion to the Premier League via the Play-Offs last season after they beat Leeds United at the Millennium Stadium – oh how the outcome of those two teams have ended with both sides relegated from their respective leagues.

Albion needed to claim all three points on the last day of the season at home to Barnsley – and they did with some style with a 7-0 thrashing of the Yorkshire outfit.

Southampton claimed a 6th placed spot after their 4-1 victory over Southend whilst Derby County recorded a 2-0 home win over already relegated Leeds United and Wolverhampton won 4-1 at Leicester City.

The standings mean that Albion will set up a tie with arch rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in a two legged semi-final. They will first meet at Molineux on 13 May and return to the Hawthorns three days later. The winner will go to the new Wembley Stadium on 28 May.

All Play-Off games will be shown on live Sky television and any away goals scored do not count double.
