With the October international break in full flow now, West Bromwich Albion went out with a bang last weekend as we took a solid 4-2 victory over Cardiff City at The Hawthorns to send us into the fixture lull, top of the Championship table.
Matheus Pereira had a massive influence on the game and for many he was our Man of the Match for the clash, but praise for the 23-year-old didn’t end there, as when Team of the Week selections started coming out, he found himself in the official EFL starting XI.

Plenty of fans were naturally delighted with that, believing his inclusion was definitely the right decision and with news this week that the player has already agreed terms in principle with the club over making his loan from Sporting Lisbon permanent when the January transfer window reopens, that’ll be another boost as we look to go one step further on last season and secure our return to the Premier League.
I should think so too @EFL

Absolutely. Not even up for debate imo. Sign him ASAP. ????⚪

Option to buy already agreed at 9 mil and he seems to love it here so I say he is likely to already sign

With talk of a £9million fee to get the deal done, given what we’ve seen from the lad so far that could be an absolute snip, especially if the structure of the deal is in our favour as well.
Six starts, three sub appearances and two goals and four assists already speaks volumes for his talent.
