West Bromwich Albion head coach has said he ‘feels let down’ by four players who broke an official curfew to help themselves to a taxi in Spain.

West Brom have already released their official statement promising an internal investigation into the allegations and although Pardew himself clearly can’t say too much at the moment with the preference to keep things behind closed doors until the true facts are known, the Mirror do carry some brief quotes from him this evening as the clubs’ season goes from bad to utterly ridiculous.

‘We are having an investigation to get to the bottom of it. It wasn`t what we wanted. They break a curfew and that is unacceptable and I feel let down by that. There was a curfew on that evening and it was broken.’

Pardew added.

‘The club is clear it has to investigate properly. But we just want to concentrate on the game now we have 11 games left and are in the fifth round of the FA Cup.’

For everyone’s sake that investigation needs to be speedy so some kind of line can be drawn and we can focus on the matches ahead.
