Former West Bromwich Albion manager Darren Moore had one big problem spot in the side during his time in charge last season, and that was suitable talent at right back in particular. If our games so far this season are anything to go by, that position is no longer an issue.
Having missed out on all of his preferred targets during the summer transfer window, we saw Tyrone Mears drafted in as one potential option throughout the campaign, but we, of course, had a number of players fill that spot to varying degrees of success.
Despite bringing in Darnell Furlong over the summer, head coach Slaven Bilic has bounced between him and 18-yer-old Academy graduate Nathan Ferguson so far this season, and both have impressed fans to differing levels.
With West Brom again fighting back from behind to take a point and remain unbeaten in the Championship campaign of 2019/20 in last weekend’s clash with Fulham, both of our full backs on the day took significant praise for their efforts, and Ferguson again showed his versatility, filling in at left back for a second time as Kieran Gibbs’ replacement.
Hope Fergie has let Knockaert out of his pocket for training tomorrow

Both were incredible, but i have to point out Ferguson because he's so young and filling in on the left side as a right footed player and he still is impressing everyone. Well done ????????
Glad it's not me who has to pick which one of these two plays RB when Gibbs is back ????— JonW1995 (@JonW1995) September 15, 2019
Amazing. We have gone from not having a decent right back in years(cant class Dawson as a RB) to now having 2 QUALITY players in that position. I'd be tempted to keep them both in the team, even when Gibbs is fit again.

I thought they were both outstanding, two great talents.
