Well, this is it.
In little more than a few hours from now, we will know whether or not West Brom will be celebrating automatic promotion back to the Premier League, or facing the lottery of the Championship play-offs for the second season in a row.
In reality, things are simple for the Baggies. Beat QPR – who have nothing to play for themselves – at The Hawthorns in the final game of the regular season tonight, and that place in the Premier League for next season is secure.
Who will win tonight?West BromQPRDraw |
Anything less than that however, and both Brentford and Fulham could pounce to claim that top-two spot for themselves, leaving the Baggies with almost no margin for error.
Perhaps with that in mind, West Brom boss Slaven Bilic has named a side that shows 4 changes from the one that lost 2-1 away at Huddersfield on Friday night, as Kyle Bartley, Darnell Furlong, Filip Krovinović and Callum Robinson replace Ahmed Hegazi, Conor Townsend, Matt Phillips and Hal Robson-Kanu, who all drop to the bench.
Taking to Twitter to react to that team news, plenty of West Brom fans were keen to show their support for their side, and give their thoughts on that starting lineup for such a vital game.
Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.
Hegazi has done nothing to be dropped other than that a pretty good lineup

Correct changes, surprised not to see Austin but no complaints. Come on Albion 🔵⚪️

Robinson and Krovinović start!
But why drop Hegazi for Bartley! 😭
In Slaven we trust!
