The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Shrewsbury Town and West Bromwich Albion’s Under 23s this Tuesday in the EFL Trophy.

West Bromwich Albion travel to Shrewsbury on Tuesday October 3 for the EFL Trophy tie at Greenhous Meadow and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Michael Salisbury
Assistant Refs: Joe Simpson and Paul Thompson
Fourth Official: Amy Fearn

Match Day referee Salisbury has officiated eight games in 2017/18, showing 18 yellow cards.

He was new to the Football League in 2016 having been on National League duty in 2015/16.

He took in 31 games in 2016/17 with a return of 107 yellow cards and nine red cards.

His highest card count that year was seven yellow cards and one red in the game between Stevenage and Portsmouth.

In the National League last season though he took in 20 games, with a return of 25 yellow cards and three red cards.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
