Peter Odemwingie has said he’s looking to equal his goal tally of 15 from last season after doubling his season total in the last two games.

Speaking to wba.co.uk after the game, Odemwingie said.

‘The most important thing for me is that we finally got a win at home for our fans. It was very important to start well and get all the fans behind us. I was very glad I could score an early goal and give confidence to the rest of the team.’

As for his desire to match last seasons total, he added.

‘People have asked me if I can beat my record or get double figures. I said yes, if I have a good run it is possible.’
