Baggies Word On The Tweet

‘Non starter’ – These West Brom fans react to update on reported transfer target

West Brom’s hope of bringing Grady Diangana back to The Hawthorns this have been dealt a blow, after a report from football.london claimed that West Ham have no plans to sell the attacker this summer.

Diangana joined the Baggies on loan from the Hammers last summer, and played a key role in helping the club win automatic promotion, scoring eight goals and providing a further six assists across the course of the campaign.

Perhaps not surprisingly therefore, it is thought that West Brom had been keen on a permanent move for Diangana this summer, although it now appears that is unlikely to happen.

According to the latest reports, West Ham have no intention of losing Diangana this summer, with Hammers boss David Moyes said to be a big fan of the 22-year-old, who he expects to play a big role for the club in the future.

Indeed, with five years remaining on Diangana’s contract at West Ham, there is no pressure on the club to sell the attacker in the next few weeks.

Taking to Twitter to react to that news, plenty of West Brom fans appeared to be disappointed, but perhaps not surprised, by West Ham’s stance with regards to interest in Diangana.

Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.
