Roy Hodgson has said he has no complaints about Albion’s first red card of the season, however he was disappointed that we weren’t awarded a penalty.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson commented.

‘I think it was a penalty. I don’t think there is any question about that. It wasn’t one of those where Evra deliberately tried to foul Odemwingie, but he did definitely trip him up. We could argue, with a bit of luck, that might have helped us and got us back into the game, but the decisive moments was Jonas’ sending off.’
