Mulumbu Hoping To Be Fit

Youssouf Mulumbu is hoping to be fit for the game at the weekend after missing the international game with a tight hamstring.

Spekaing to wba.co.uk, Mulumbu said he was hoping to face former boss Di Matteo as he returns to face the club for the first time as Chelsea manager.

‘I hope I will be fit. After Wigan I felt something in my hamstring and we didn’t want to take any risks. Robbie has done well, so all my praise goes to him, but I’m looking to beat him. He has a strong team but let’s see what happens on Saturday, I’m quite confident.’

And so we should be, it won’t be an easy match on any level, but we’ve shown we can compete this season.
