Youssouf Mulumbu has said that part of the reason for signing his new extended contract are the ambitions that the club holds, and he wants to be part of that.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Mulumbu said.

‘I am very happy, the club has shown me the desire in every respect to stay, it means they want to build up a big team and I’m glad to be involved. I’m looking forward to the new season.’

Mulumbu added about the reported interest from abroad.

‘I heard about some teams interested in me, but it’s not the right time to go. I spoke with the board and they made me think about my situation, and I think it’s better for me to stay at West Brom.’
