Winger Callum McManaman has been ruled out for the next four to six weeks having picked up an ankle ligament injury.

Speaking to wba.co.uk in his pre Peterborough FA Cup fourth round press conference, the gaffer confirmed that with James Morrison also out, McManaman would now join him on the same lay off period.

Chris Brunt remains a doubt with his calf and it’s not expected he will be risked, and Darren Fletcher with his knee is also a worry ahead of the match. Salomon Rondon is touch and go with concerns over fatigue for him.

‘It`s a three game week but I have made my feelings about this competition very clear – I will be fielding a strong team to win the game.’

Pulis also confirmed that we were interested in trying to do a loan deal with Queens Park Rangers to bring in Brazilian midfielder Sandro until the end of the year, but short of confirming our interest at this stage there was nothing else to add.
