The Premier League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Newcastle United this weekend.

West Bromwich Albion travel to Newcastle United on Saturday February 6 for the game at St James’ Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Lee Mason
Linesmen: A Halliday and H Lennard
Fourth Official: P Tierney

Match Day referee Mason (Lancashire) has officiated one West Brom game this season – the two one victory over Stoke in January. In that game he showed two yellow cards and one red, a yellow to West Brom.

He has however already taken in 22 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 62 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough on September 19 with a total of eight yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
