West Brom will be boosted by up to £10m in the coming months as they receive funds from transfers that went through last year.
That was revealed by the Telegraph, who claimed that Burnley are set to pay Albion £5m for the signing of Jay Rodriguez last year, whilst the deals that took Craig Dawson to Watford and Salomon Rondon to Dalian Yifang will bring in a similar amount combined.
As a result, the report outlines why the Baggies are in a relatively healthy financial position and they haven’t had to ask players to take wage deferrals, although chief executive Mark Jenkins is working for free during this period. Obviously, this was a reassuring message for the West Brom fans, who are very pleased with the state the club is in right now, with Slaven Bilic’s men currently second in the Championship and on course to win promotion.
Here we look at some of the comments to the news…

Why would they be determined to carry on the season? End now = guaranteed promotion and all the money that comes with that. Keep all staff etc. Play on. Risk not going up. Huge drop in income. Redundancies etc.
