Romelu Lukaku has admitted he is bored by the Didier Drogba comparisons now because he wants to be talked about based on his attributes.

Speaking to wba.co.uk the on loan Chelsea man said.

‘At first it was ok, but I’m bored of it now. It isn’t necessary and I don’t like it. I’m not anybody else, this is my own name and the name I want people to remember.’

The comparisons are obvious because of the similar playing styles, and Lukaku did explain that he spent a lot of time training with both Drogba and Frank Lampard to improve his game, but it’s understandable now that at his age he feels it’s time to become his own man and have his performances talked about, not who he’d like to emulate.
