Baggies Word On The Tweet

‘Love this’, ‘Second home’ – Many West Brom fans loving life as club match record run

|

To say that the current season has been a rip-roaring success would be a massive understatement for West Bromwich Albion fans. The Baggies are top of the Championship and have outscored every single team in the division, and now it shows as they’ve matched an unbeaten home run.

The fans may not have been aware of the record they were racking up as they’ve been on this run, but Slaven Bilic’s side are yet to taste defeat at The Hawthorns in 16 games, a run that was last achieved way back in 1920, which, coincidentally, saw them win the first division in the first season post-World War 1.

This time around, it looks like the Baggies could be set to win the league again. Granted, it’s in the second tier of English football and not the first, but it would still be an achievement and the longer that this sublime run of unbeaten home games can go on, the better.

Will Slaven Bilic guide us back to the Premier League?
