West Bromwich Albion fans have got a massive amount of time for Sam Johnstone, and it’s not hard to see why. The Baggies’ shot-stopper is a top player, and as he turns 27-years-old today both his club and the supporters have been quick to laud their gloveman.

Some fans may be funny about Johnstone and don’t give the sort of credit he deserves, but there is no doubting that he’s one of the best in the Championship when he’s playing his best football, and the majority of fans have been quick to laud the superb goalkeeper on Twitter.
Obviously, with the break from football, there’s no telling when Johnstone we will be back between the sticks, but sooner rather than later he will hopefully make a return and show what he can do at The Hawthorns once again on the Baggies’ way towards promotion.
