Baggies Word On The Tweet

‘Liability’ ‘MOM’ – These West Brom fans are split on player’s performance in Blackburn draw

|

West Brom were left frustrated in their pursuit of automatic promotion on Saturday afternoon, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Having taken a deserved lead through Filip Krovinovic shortly before half time, the Baggies were pegged back shortly after the hour-mark when substitute Joe Rothwell equalised for the hosts.

Both sides missed chances to win the game throughout the course of the match, meaning West Brom currently sit three points clear of third-placed Brentford – who have a stronger goal difference – with three games of the regular season still to be played.

One player who seemed to struggle at Ewood Park was Romaine Sawyers, with the former Brentford man struggling failing to impose himself on the game consistently, while at times being caught out in positions that could have proved costly for the Baggies.

Should Romaine Sawyers keep his place in the side?

Yes

No

Indeed, taking to Twitter after the game, some West Brom fans appeared far from happy with Sawyers’ performance in Lancashire, with many questioning his contribution to the side on the day, although others were more positive with their take on the midfielder’s performance.

Here, we take a look at what some of those Baggies fans had to say.
