Kozak and Martinez were informed today that they would not be offered full-time deals after their loan moves expired.

Martinez scored at Everton in only his second appearance since his move in January on loan from Defensor did little to impress Robson and some would argue that he was at fault for both goals at Goodison Park.

Martinez scored with a volley only a few minutes into the second-half but then he was at fault when he was turned by rookie Victor Anichebe and then he conceeded a penalty when he took down Mikel Arteta for their second goal.

Kozak on the other hand made two substiture appearances in February and four starts in March but has not figured for the first-team since the away defeat at White Hart Lane against Spurs.

Both players have been praised by Robson but he admitted that they would not be offered deals to stay, he said, ‘They will be going back to their clubs.

‘I’ve obviously had chance to look at them and I just feel we need that little bit extra quality if we can get it in the summer.

‘But they’re both cracking lads and I’d like to wish them all the best in their future careers.’

No arguments from me as both players failed to make any kind of impact and looked lacking in certain departments. Compared to the impact last seasons January replacements had compared to this season, you could say they were lacking.

Kieran Richardson and Kevin Campbell had a positive effect last season but both Kozak and Martinez have come and gone without even being noticed.
