With reports this week suggesting that highly rated West Bromwich Albion Academy graduate Nathan Ferguson could well be a target for Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, the press seem to have got a little bit carried away with themselves as he’s now said to be a target for Atletico Madrid and Juventus.
The original claims said Spurs had already scouted him and were planning a £10million offer, and clearly that’s nowhere near his valuation to us given existing moves in previous windows, but The Athletic namechecked the additional sides and referenced the fact that under compensation rules, if he moved abroad we would only receive about £420,000.
Given our record with youngsters, that’s obviously a cause for concern but given he seems happy at the club and is getting good game time, fans want to see that five year deal signed and then come January, everyone can assess their options knowing West Brom have got their back covered here.
Why would he want to play with Ronaldo when he plays with Pereira? #wba

Get his new 5 x year contract signed ASAP and then if we do sell it will take a massive offer imo

Fair point, can’t see it being true though, it’s no surprise that he’s after a contract now there’s transfer talk, 100% his agent trying to make him a few more quid

Its gotta feel nice tho for him, to have spurs athletico and Juve after you at a young age
I hope he stays forever but can you imagine that feeling— Conor Showell (@conor_showell) October 21, 2019
God knows why @Nathan6Ferguson would wanna sign for Juventus or Atletico Madrid one's just a small notts county and the other not even the biggest club in madrid ???? should stay and get his club promoted ???? #wba
