If reports are to be believed then Nathan Ellington could be on his way back to Wigan Athletic in the next day or so.

Paul Jewell has been looking for an extra striker and has put in a £2 million bid for the striker West Brom paid £3 million for in 2005.

And £3 million is said to be the price that chairman Jeremy Pearce is holding out for, even though he cannot make the first team at the Hawthorns.

Jewell first came sniffing after Ellington in the summer but the Baggies had no interest in letting him go then, now they may be persuaded if the price is right.
