It’s A Case Of As We Were For West Brom Ahead Of Swansea Clash

|

West Bromwich Albion head coach Darren Moore has confirmed that the only injury issue affecting his plans for the Swansea City clash on Wednesday evening remains summer signing Kyle Bartley.

We head to the Liberty Stadium to face the 27-year-old’s former club for the midweek encounter but Moore told the Birmingham Mail in his pre-game press conference that there remained no timescale on his rehabilitation and it will simply take as long as it takes to ensure that he returns at 100% and doesn’t suffer a recurrence.

Having missed the Hull City clash through suspension, he has already missed games against fellow former club Leeds United and our victory against Ipswich Town last Friday with the knee issue, but with some defensive improvements in recent games, it’s understandable as to why the gaffer feels no need to rush him back.

At least the Ipswich game seems to have passed by without anyone else picking up an issue unless we hear anything new later today.
