Yesterday Sky Sports confirmed that three more West Bromwich Albion fixtures had been selected for the live television treatment.
Our games against Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County across September and October will all be given a national audience.
The first local derby of the season – something West Brom can enjoy this season following our unfortunate but expected relegation from the Premier League in 2017/18 – against Birmingham City at the laughably named Trillion Trophy Stadium was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 15, but it’s now been brought forward to the Friday evening slot (September 14) and the match will kick-off at 7.45pm.
The next two games selected are midweek fixtures so fans are less inconvenienced.
The trip to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday continues to take place on Wednesday, October 3 and kick-off remains at 7.45pm.
We face Frank Lampard’s Derby County at The Hawthorns on Wednesday, October 24 with the game carrying am 8pm kick-off.
West Brom have now had five Championship clashes selected for the television boost in the opening few months of the campaign.
Result for you!!!

Luckily I work in Digbeth and finish at 6 so for a refreshing change it doesn’t affect me too badly

MASSIVE. Might have to book half a day off for that.

Mate, we're not a laughing stock because we haven't released an away kit. We released our home kit this month. Next month will be the away kit. More chance that people will buy both shirts with a staggered release. Think about it chap.

I seem to remember a Friday night game at the Blues thirty-odd seasons ago. Be able to do a groundhop on the Saturday now ☺

No great animosity between us (shared dislike of claret and blue). But surprised West Mids police have allowed this.
