West Bromwich Albion fans are likely keenly aware of Darren Moore’s shortlisting for the Premier League Manager of the Month Award for April.

Our caretaker gaffer finds himself nominated for the gong after overseeing a four-game unbeaten run in April where West Brom took eight points from a potential 12 to give slight hopes of avoiding the drop this season.

Those games included a stand out victory over Manchester United and a more than creditable point against Liverpool.

Moore was shortlisted alongside Everton’s Sam Allardyce, Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, Crystal Palace’s Roy Hodgson and Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho.

Reactions to the nomination were probably as expected really when you consider the remarkable turnaround in form following his appointment.

Midfielder Jake Livermore was also nominated for the Player of the Month award for his performances across those four games.

He has been shortlisted alongside Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen, Everton’s Jordan Pickford, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.

Fans again have until midday tomorrow to vote – Click Here – and both winners will be announced on Tuesday May 8.
