Roy Hodgson has admitted that Jerome Thomas’ niggly hamstring injury resurfaced in the Sunderland game, but he doesn’t believe it will keep him out of the Chelsea match.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said.
‘Jerome has a slight problem with his hamstring on a regular basis. He started to feel that but I don’t think it’s a major problem and I’m sure he’ll be fit for next week.’
Mulumbu’s substitution was a reward for his efforts.
‘Youssouf was very good until he tired towards the end of the game.’
