Roy Hodgson has said he has plenty of options at his disposal following the unfortunate injury to Zoltan Gera.

Speaking to the E&S Hodgson said that whilst losing Gera was an obvious blow, we do have other players capable of playing the same kind of support role at the club.

‘Graham hardly played last year. He needs to play more games and the same applies to Peter Odemwingie. We have several players who can play in that position behind the striker. Odemwingie or Shane Long, Simon Cox and Somen Tchoyi, and James Morrison has played there too.’
