It’s being reported in the press today that Albion are checking out goalkeeper Michael Rensing and left back Danny Rose.
The E&S, amongst others, say we have the Cologne keeper on our short list for if negotiations with Ben Foster fall through, and our interest in the Spurs youngster is with a view to a season long loan following the departure of Nicky Shorey.
It’s believed Spurs want him to get some first team action, and we obviously need cover.
That said I’m not sure about loans, Vela worked out reasonably well for us, but of course training up other clubs’ players as the expense of blooding our own never really sits well with me.
