I’m going to do my best not to repeat the same rumours every few days, because let’s face it, there are going to be hundreds over the coming weeks.

So to start with, former goalie Tom Kuszczak. The Daily Mail are reporting that Albion are preparing a £3 million bid in the hope of re-securing his services from Man U. With the 29 year old not in Ferguson’s plans, and with Hodgson rumoured to have lost out on Brad Friedel who signed for Spurs today, Kuszczak is now supposed to be our top priority between the sticks.

The Independant suggest that the Hawthorns is the favoured destination of Blackpool midfielder David Vaughan. The 28 year old would be available on a free transfer, and despite receiving an offer of a 3 year deal at Blackpool and having interest from Everton, Sunderland and Rangers, the Baggies have the advantage of being closest to his current home.

In the players out speculation column, we have Marek Cech in the Birmingham Mail saying that his long term Albion future is in doubt despite the club taking up the one year option on him the other week.

If he can’t force his way into Hodgson’s plans he will be looking to move on for regular football, but he’s prepared to put the work in first to see if he can win Roy round.

The Daily Mail say that Arsenal are preparing a £4 million deal for Peter Odemwingie as Arsene Wenger wants more threat upfront and was obviously impressed by Odemwingie as the season drew on.

Expect plenty of Odemwingie rumours until the point he signs a new contract.
