In a huge blow to Zoltan Gera it has now been confirmed that he will miss the remainder of the season after tests showed he has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The 32 year old, as we know, was taken off on 21 minutes after injuring himself whilst turning in the game against Spurs. He has already met with a surgeon and will undergo an operation to repair his knee on Saturday.

With rehab usually taking 6-9 months, all will be focused on getting Gera fit and ready for the start of our next campaign.

Keep your chin up Zoltan.
