On Tuesday afternoon West Bromwich Albion confirmed that they had given Brendan Galloway permission to return to Everton for their final three Under 23 games of the year.

The 21 year old full back joined the club over the summer on a season long loan spell but has only made five appearances for the club, three coming in the Premier League with an FA Cup and League Cup appearance a piece.

Upon request from Everton, we allowed him to return to their Under 23 team as they close in on the title and he played for them last Monday evening where they took victory over Tottenham Hotspur to leave them with two games to play and only needing two points to clinch the trophy.

Head coach Tony Pulis told wba.co.uk about the decision.

‘We are allowing Brendan to play in three very, very important games for their 23s. He`s an absolute pleasure to work with and we enjoy having him with us and working with him. Of course he would have wanted to play more but he has found it very difficult in competition with Allan Nyom and Chris Brunt performing so well there. He is top lad with a great career ahead of him.’
