A short time ago today, West Bromwich Albion announced the capture of Manchester City youngster Tosin Adarabioyo on a season-long loan spell.

The highly rated 20-year-old heads into The Hawthorns for a spell that will expire next summer and Adarabioyo is the third defender recruited so far this summer by head coach Darren Moore as he reshapes the squad for the Championship campaign of 2018/19 that lies ahead.
I can safely say I don’t believe I know anything about the lad whatsoever, but coming from City’s Elite Development Squad, well, he has a kudos of his own that has got plenty amongst the fanbase excited.
We can’t, of course, expect too much from him too soon, he’s developing as a player and this is a step up for him as he chases more regular senior action.
He has featured for City previously though, he made his full senior bow back in February 2016 in the FA Cup against Chelsea. He followed that with an August Champions League debut as a substitute against Steaua. September of that year saw an EFL Cup debut as a substitute against Swansea City and he rounded 2016 out with a full Champions League debut in a clash with Celtic.
Step forward to 2017/18 and he started in the EFL Cup clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers, featured again in Europe when they played against Shakhtar, was back to Cup action against Leicester City and featured for them against Basel.
All in he has five starts for them, with three showings from the bench and this is his first loan spell away from the club and throwing him straight into the second tier as a sink or swim probably belies how much belief they have in the 6ft 5incher.
Welcome to the Baggies…
He’s been good enough to break it down for us. #WhatAGuy pic.twitter.com/nwAnoRKsKR
