Fulop Looking To Extend Stay

Marton Fulop has said he hasn’t joined the Baggies to simply make up the numbers, he wants the No 1 shirt from Foster and he wants to extend his stay at The Hawthorns.

Speaking to wba.co.uk the 28 year old new signing said that the move came around very quickly, and that he’s delighted to be back in the Premier League. But he’s not here to be a No 2, he wants games.

‘It was a straight forward decision, I needed a new challenge and West Brom fitted the bill, it all went through very quickly. I know Foster is the No 1 but if I get the opportunity I want to take it, but I also want to support Ben and help him play really well for the club. I came here to prove that I am ready and I can play games if needed. This is a very good challenge for me.’

As for his aspirations, he adds his aims are the same as the clubs’, we want a top ten finish.

‘We want to finish near the top ten and I think that is achievable, it’s a very good footballing side, West Brom always want to play football.’
