Friday The 13th Could Be Lucky For This West Brom Starlet – “Scores When He Wants”

|

On Monday, West Bromwich Albion’s Under 23 squad saw their seven game unbeaten run come to an end as Manchester United took advantage at Leigh Sports Village, but youngster Jamie Soule again made his mark on proceedings.

The highly rated 19-year-old opened the scoring for us in the Premier League 2 clash as he continued his own form, and although it wasn’t enough to take victory, there were plenty of positives that those who follow at that level will take. Not least another few namechecks for the performance of Chris Willock, and game time for Chris Brunt, Rekeem Harper and Dara O’Shea.

West Brom: House; Meredith (White 85), Fitzwater, O’Shea, Harmon; Harper, Brunt; Willock, Azaz, Tulloch; Soule (Clayton-Phillips 52).

Although it wasn’t the win we’d have been after, plenty of Baggies fans continue to be excited about the development potential of Soule and he could cap a fine week on Friday as he’s already been shortlisted for the PL2 Player of the Month award for November.
