Ben Foster has held his hands up and accepted responsibility for Man City’s equiliser last weekend.

Speaking to wba.co.uk our reigning Player of the Year held his hands up and admitted he judged it wrong for their leveler.

‘The first one was a horrible one, it was a great ball to be fair, I thought I’d come and get something on it and once you are on your way you kind of think ‘oh dear, here we go’. You’re hoping the defender gets it but I should’ve stayed on my line. I’m gutted, I thought we played really well. It was brutal really, a brutal finish to a game we deserved to get a lot more out of.’

I think we can give Ben a few hiccups or so per season given how valuable he has been for us since joining the club. Everybody has moments of madness in a game and whilst he’s no different, there are certainly less reliable and consistent keepers around so he shouldn’t be too disheartened, sometimes these things just happen.
