Skipper Darren Fletcher and Chris Brunt have both said that the West Bromwich Albion players will be looking to make up for the FA Cup fifth round loss to Reading when we face Crystal Palace this weekend.

Beginning with the skipper, he was quoted by the Birmingham Mail as saying that everybody needed to put the disappointing Cup loss and the coin incident behind them, and focus squarely on picking up a positive result against Crystal Palace in our next game.

‘You need your fans behind you. You need everyone in the club pushing in the one direction. It is an incident that has happened now. Let`s move on from it and get them behind us at The Hawthorns against Crystal Palace.’

For the same game and performance itself, he commented.

‘I thought we started the second half really well and got ourselves in the lead. Then we lost two goals from wide free-kicks, which is disappointing from our point of view because we work hard on those situations. We are a threat at them and score from many, but to concede from them – games are defined on these things and we have got to look at it and do better. It cost us.’

As for Brunt, with news today that an individual has been arrested following the various incidents at the Madejski Stadium, his own interview he was just focused on getting back to winning ways as even given his initial words, he knew it was one individual amongst thousands who clearly overstepped the mark.

‘I will work towards Crystal Palace and try to make amends for a disappointing performance. If selected I will do my best to the best of my ability. I am a professional and trying to do my job to the best of my ability. If some people don`t think that is good that is their opinion. But the manager and coaches pick the team and if I am there I will do the job to the best of my ability. That is what I am there to do.’
