Fazio Fee Agreed?

It’s being reported in the press that West Bromwich Albion have had a £5million fee for Tottenham Hotspur’s Federico Fazio accepted.

The 28 year old moved to White Hart Lane from at the time Europa League holders Sevilla only last summer for a fee said to be in the region of 10million Euros but he has quickly slipped down the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino and they seem keen to move him on after 32 appearances for them last summer.

The Daily Telegraph are claiming that with the fee agreed, it’s just a matter of personal terms being thrashed out now but it’s likely that will be completed ahead of the weekend.

Whether this complicates our rejection of their offer for Saido Berahino will have to be seen.

Wales Online are also continuing to report that Albion are yet to meet Cardiff’s valuation for goalkeeper David Marshall, and with their manager Russell Slade saying the other week that the club had not heard back from us following initial talks, it’s said the deal is very much dead in the water now with no progress since then.
