The West Brom run in the FA Cup is continuing for at least one more game, with a replay needed, after the fourth round draw with Peterborough at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

Despite twice leading West Brom couldn’t see off League 1 side Peterborough with a replay required following this two-two draw.

He’s not started too many games since making it clear on the last transfer deadline day he wanted to leave in what could be his last outing Saido Berahino had West Brom ahead early on with a fine long-range effort.

That looked to be enough until Shaquile Coulthirst drew Peterborough level 11-minutes from time.

Berahino restored the West Brom lead again six-minutes from time when he finished from a right angle but a couple of minutes later Albion were pegged back again when Jon Taylor equalised again.

James McClean twice hit the target in the first half but couldn’t score with either with Craig Gardner also passing by a good chance with West Brom ‘keeper Boaz Myhill an onlooker until he made his first save with less than 20-minutes to play with the game bursting into life in the closing 10-minutes or so.

These were the other fourth round results.

Some interesting results, without (at the moment) too many upsets really as on the whole those expected to go through did go through or at least remain in the competition! Well, I would say anyway.

But without a doubt the stand out result (so far), with them causing an upset to progress, has to be the three-two win for Shrewsbury with the League 1 side beating Championship one Sheffield Wednesday to see them into the next round keep those cup dreams alive.

Who was the West Brom MotM in this game? That’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote.
