Fourteen players from the first-team and U23s could leave West Bromwich Albion at the end of their contracts this summer – Kyle Edwards, Lee Peltier, Chris Brunt, Gareth Barry, Ali Al-Habsi, Jonathan Bond, Jack Fitzwater, Kane Wilson, Bradley House, Jack Chambers, Sam Wilding, Finn Azaz, George Harmon, Cheikh Diaby.

Who has scored the most Championship goals?

Kyle Edwards is coming to the end of a two-year deal he signed in 2018, but the 22-year-old is in talks with Albion over an extension.

Lee Peltier only joined on a short-term deal in January and hasn’t made an appearance for the Baggies, so it’s hard to see him staying past the summer.

Chris Brunt could be a free agent in the coming months, but supporters are hoping he stays on for another year. There’s no new deal in place just yet, however.

Gareth Barry signed an extension with Albion until the end of the season, but he could be on his way out this summer as he’s made only three appearances in 2019/20.

Ali Al-Habsi was only signed as cover for the season but hasn’t even made the matchday squad, so it’s hard to see him being handed an extension.

Jonathan Bond’s contract is up this summer, but he may be retained for another season as he’s Albion’s second-choice goalkeeper.

Jack Fitzwater could be on his way out after struggling for playing time. The 22-year-old has made just one appearance for the Midlands outfit, so it’s unlikely a new deal will be on the table.

Kane Wilson spent half the season on loan at Tranmere Rovers and made 13 appearances in all competitions. He’s featured only once for West Brom at senior level and hasn’t made the squad for nearly three years, so a departure could be on the cards.

Bradley House will turn 22 in October and hasn’t made a first-team appearance for Albion, so he could be released this summer.

Jack Chambers signed a professional deal last summer and has the option to extend his deal another year, so the 19-year-old could be staying.

Sam Wilding has been a regular for the U23s and has the option to extend his deal for another year, so West Brom may hold onto him.

Finn Azaz signed a professional deal last summer, has the option to extend his contract for 12 months and has been a regular for the U23s, so he, too, could stay for at least another year.

George Harmon also signed a professional deal last summer, has a 12-month option on his contract and is a regular for the reserve team, so it’s hard to see him being let go.

Cheikh Diaby only joined West Brom last summer, but he had to wait until 2020 to play due to a problem surrounding his transfer. Albion haven’t seen a lot of the 20-year-old, so the club may trigger the second-year option in his contract.
