Graham Dorrans may now miss the Liverpool clash, as his ankle injury is still giving him problems.

Roy Hodgson has explained that the club are still hopeful that Dorrans will return for Liverpool, but there’s a slight doubt that he may take longer than that to recover

‘It’s too early to say how bad Dorrans is. It would be wrong to fear monger, but I thought his ankle looked okay, the swelling had gone down but he is still having problems.’

Hodgson adds that the medical staff are treating the injury with kid gloves at the moment as the player is still unable to bear any weight on the ankle, but a fuller diagnosis should be known by the end of the week.

‘Our medical people will keep an eye on him and if there is no improvement later this week we will scan it again.’

Get well soon Graham.
