Graham Dorrans’ recovery from his ankle injury is going well, and it’s hopeful he will make his return before the end of the season.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Hodgson said the medical staff had been very pleased with his recovery so far and now that he’s back running and has suffered no ill effects, he should be well on the road to recovery.

‘Graham’s making a lot of progress but we don’t want to see any regression. The doctors are very pleased and he is out running now, we were never seriously targeting a return for the Chelsea game but he’s still on track at the moment.’

You’d be hard pushed to expect him involved this weekend, but if progress is going that well then there’s a possibility he’ll be in with a chance of a bench position from thereon in.
