Heading into last night’s game, everyone knew that three points for West Brom was absolutely necessary, yet it appears Slaven Bilic and the squad didn’t get the memo.

The Baggies put on one of their worst performances of the season as West Brom collapsed to a shocking 1-0 defeat to Stoke City, who have been near the bottom of the Championship table for most of the season, with the loss ensuring that West Brom didn’t gain much-needed ground over Leeds United in the standings.
Are West Brom going to bottle their position in the top-two?
Yes
No
The result was one of the worst of the season, and as the full-time whistle blew, plenty of West Brom fans took to social media to voice their anger at the club for the performance, with many more just finding the night hilarious given how badly the team bottled the fixture.
Here’s what lots of Baggies fans had to say on Twitter following the full-time whistle…
We just lost to a team that crossed into our half of the pitch about 3 times all game. Done by the Irish Tony Pulis. Banter.

Just delete. Honestly abysmal. Every single player needs to hang their heads in shame including bilic. Signings needed massively.

Results on the weekend meant that the gap between top spot and third in the Championship was reduced to just five points, adding more pressure for West Brom to clinch Premier League promotion.
