Baggies Word On The Tweet

The race for Premier League promotion not so long ago looked like a foregone conclusion with West Brom and Leeds United at one point both way ahead of the rest of the pack, yet football has its funny ways of throwing a spanner in the works.

Although the Baggies have managed to regain some form after their dreadful Christmas period and opening few weeks of 2020, Marcelo Bielsa’s side have not managed to outgrow their disastrous performances as of late which have seen clubs in the playoff positions steadily catch up to them, and last nights 1-1 draw with Brentford has put Leeds in a precarious position.

Can West Brom maintain their winning run?

Yes

No

A win for Fulham tonight would see the Cottagers leapfrog Leeds in the Championship table, and lots of West Brom fans on social media were delighted to see the Whites drop even more points last night.

Here’s what lots of West Brom supporters had to say on Twitter about Leeds’ draw at Griffin Park…

If the Baggies win tonight at Reading, West Brom will go six points clear of Leeds in the table.

We should concentrate on our results and nobody else, because if we have to rely on other results it may affect you’re own performance, just win our own games and if the other challengers lose, well that’s a bonus.
