Youngster Donervorn Daniels has been rewarded for his progress by being presented with his first ever pro contract.

The 18 year old Academy graduate has penned a deal that will keep him at the club until June 2013, and the club have an extra years option in our favour.

After joining from Reading 2 seasons ago, Daniels has constantly impressed and developed himself into a regular in our U18 side. The defender has also established himself in our reserves team this season.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Dan Ashworth said.

‘Donervorn is halfway through his second year scholarship. He’s had some good and consistent performances, not only in the youth team but also in the reserves. He is very athletic, and still has a bit to do tactically – as a lot of young players have – but we think he’s got potential. I look forward to seeing how he progresses.’
